New Delhi, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, a 1984-batch IAS officer, will be the new Home Secretary. He has replaced 1982-batch IAS officer Rajiv Gauba, an official statement said here. Mr Gauba has been appointed as the new Cabinet Secretary, for two years, it added.
