Siddhi powered by humanity begins its biggest Environment campaign

Siddhi Powered by Humanity is a spiritual non profit organisation that has been

established to help individuals lead holistic and wholesome lives. The ideology behind Siddhi

seeds from the belief of ‘Selfless Service’, a concept that has been restricted in meaning in the

present times. Siddhi aims to selflessly serve and help motivate its volunteers and members

to selflessly serve the society, environment and the planet as a whole. The initiatives of siddhi

are aligned to the United Nations sustainable development goals.

Dr Meenaa Mahaajjan founder of siddhi is extremely passionate about preservation and

restoration of the environment. She says “It’s my dream to make a forest in delhi which we will

do soon “ Each year the organisation dedicates 3 months to their Green initiative called

GREEN SIDDHI.

GREEN SIDDHI is fully dedicated to restoring the environment. Volunteers of siddhi spend a

lot of time on ground across the nation to spread awareness and carry out a lot of work on the

ground level to bring about the much needed change.

This year the initiative started with some CRPF officers at the CRPF headquarters at delhi.

IG vikram Sehgal was extremely delighted to learn about the work done by siddhi and said

“there has to be more sensitivity for environment and more organisations like siddhi who do

selfless work in areas of upliftment “

The little volunteers of siddhi gifted the officers with their creative daily use material made

from waste products, spreading the message that everything can be recycled.

Dr Meenaa said “Environment is not just external, we need to first take care of our internal

environment only then we can be committed to the external environment’.

This year SIDDHI plans to do many initiatives starting 1st June. World environment day will be

about gifting a plant to 5000 households in Delhi and NCR, green water camps , international

yoga day, plantations across the city, conclaves on sustainability and climate change, green

walk and many more.

Last year Siddhi created a world record by planting 10000 trees in 5 hours. With siddhi it’s not

about plantations, it’s also about taking care of the saplings.

Siddhi has received many awards and recognitions for the work they do in all areas.
