India’s fastest train Vande Bharat achieves 130kmph speed during inaugural run
New Delhi : "The train has the capacity to run at 160kmph. It ran at 180kmph during the trial. The maximum speed of this section is 130kmph so it will run at 130kmph," a member of Railway Board said. On its first commercial run on Sunday, the train will leave the national capital at 6 am and reach Varanasi at 2 pm. On the same day, it will leave Varanasi at 3 pm and reach Delhi at 11 pm.
