
Delhi State Election Commissioner S.K Srivastava rejected the AAP EVMs tampering charge saying that the MCD Elections were held peacefully and smoothly. AAP blamed Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) for its defeat in Delhi municipal corporation polls. S.K Srivastava said that nobody could pressurise Election Commission, which is an independent body in organising free and fair elections.Talking about the Electronic Voting Machines, he said that EVMs worked properly during the elections, minor faults were there but they were replaced with new EVM’s.
