New Delhi, April 26 (IANS) Counting of votes for Delhi municipal elections began at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.
The Delhi State Election Commission has set up 35 centres for counting of votes and the results are expected by afternoon.
Voting for 270 of 272 wards in three municipal corporations of Delhi was held on Sunday. Polling was countermanded in two wards due to deaths of candidates.
The BJP, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are seen as the main contenders in the polls.
