The University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued a notice warning 21 Delhi colleges that it may withhold their grants and benefits if they don’t appoint regular principals. "Regular principal is important for good administration and good academic environment," said UGC secretary Rajnish Jain. The commission has given August 31 as the deadline to the colleges to file a reply.
