In an effort to compete with Reliance Jio and Airtel, BSNL has introduced a new plan for Rs 75. This new plan will offer 10GB of data for a validity of period of 15 days. Additionally, users will also get 500 SMSes along with local, STD or roaming calls.
Subscribers can also extend the validity period for the Rs 75 plan. Users will have to recharge their BSNL number with an STV plan for a minimum of Rs 98 and maximum of Rs 198 to avail 90 days validity.
STV recharge value over Rs 200 will offer a validity period of 180 days. At the moment, the plan is only valid in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circle.
Recently, BSNL introduced new add-on packs for its postpaid customers in India which will offer plans with either limited or unlimited data. The first pack is priced at Rs 240 and offers 3.5GB of 3G data.
Once the FUP limit is over, the speed will be reduced to 80 kbps. Another plan priced at Rs 340 will offer 5.5GB of data. Similar to the previous plan, once the FUP limit is over, the speed will be reduced to 80 kbps as well.
An add-on pack for Rs 666 will offer 11GB of data while the Rs 901 plan will offer 20GB of 3G data. Lastly, the plan for Rs 1711 will offer 30GB of additional data. Once the FUP limit is over, the speed will be reduced to 128 kbps.
The pack for Rs 50 offers 550MB of data, wherein users will have to pay 1 paise/per 10KB. Another plan priced at Rs 75 will offer 1.5GB of data.
The Rs 170 add-on pack will offer 2.2GB of data while the Rs 225 data plan will offer 4.2GB of data per month. Lastly, the Rs 290 pack will offer 9GB of data.
Customers with higher data requirements can choose between two packs – Rs 501 and Rs 549. While the Rs 501 pack will offer 12GB, the Rs 549 plan will offer 16GB of data.
