Delhi government on Tuesday approved the policy to pay ₹1 crore compensation to the families of martyrs belonging to Delhi. The personnel are eligible for the scheme if they had Delhi as their permanent residence at the time of joining. The scheme will cover personnel serving armed forces, paramilitary forces, Delhi Police, Delhi Fire Services and Home Guards among others.
