New Delhi, March 25: The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Amit Shah on Saturday addressed the Delhi BJP’s mega convention of booth-level workers at Ramlila Ground on Saturday ahead of the MCD Elections 2017. While speaking at the event, he attacked the Delhi government and accused it of not full-filling the promises made by it during the Assembly elections in the state. He also lauded the booth workers for their efforts and thanked them for helping the BJP form government in four out of five states that went to Assembly Elections 2017 recently.
He also said that after huge victory during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has won in all the other states except in Delhi and Bihar. “We all should pledge to perform well in the MCD Elections 2017 and bring the BJP to power,” he said.
Hailing the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shah said that in just three years, after the BJP government came to power at the Centre in 2014, a huge positive change has been witnessed in India. “The government run by PM Modi since last three years has not faced even a single corruption charge by the Opposition,” Shah said.
