Fouzia is an artist of the 16th century oral storytelling art, Dastangoi, and has dedicated herself to learning and practicing this art form. She focuses her efforts to touch upon and bring out women-centric issues in her performances and has over 100 shows all over India and UAE to her credit. Her repertoire includes performances in renowned literature festivals in Jaipur, Lucknow, Kumaon cities and festivals such as Jashn-e-Rekhta, Bookaru, Sanatkada, among others
She was honored with INDIAN WOMEN ACHIEVERS AWARD by the President of India on January 20, 2018 at New Delhi.
