Professor Asha Pande, completed her Masters and Ph.D. in French Literature from JawaharlalNehru University, New Delhi. She was bestowed with the highest civilian award of France, LEGION D’HONNEUR by the French President Nicolas Sarkozy for exemplary achievements in the promotion of French language and culture. She is the first woman to be elected as the President of the Indian Society of Theatre Research.
She was honored with INDIAN WOMEN ACHIEVERS AWARD by the President of India on January 20, 2018 at New Delhi.
