NainaLalKidwai was elected President FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry) for 2013 – the first woman tohead FICCI in its 86 years. She is Chairman, Max Financial Services and Advent Private Equity; a Non-Executive Director on the global board of Nestle, CIPLA Ltd and Larsen and Toubro. In 2006 she was appointed CEO of HSBC becoming the first woman to head a bank in the private sector in India. She is the recipient of numerous awards and honors in India including the Padma Shri.
She was honored with INDIAN WOMEN ACHIEVERS AWARD by the President of India on January 20, 2018 at New Delhi.
