Sunita Sharma is a pioneer in cricket. She was the first woman cricket coach who is the recipient of prestigious Dronacharya award. She has produced several outstanding players at the National as well as the International level who have brought laurels to the country. She has served Sports Authority of India for 35 Years as a cricket coach. She led the cricket team as Manager of Indian Women’s Team for the T20 World Cup 2016, Sri Lanka Series, Asia Cup 2016, Australia Series and T20 Champions in Asia Cup.
She was honored with INDIAN WOMEN ACHIEVERS AWARD by the President of India on January 20, 2018 at New Delhi.
