She held the post of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Group till December 2016. She spearheaded the operations and was one of the integral part of the leadership team. The institution is currently ranked world’s second largest exchange in cash market trades, she has a significant contribution in this achievement. Ms. Chitra has an established track record of successfully generating new business, sourcing investment opportunities, cultivating relationships, valuing investments, managing risks and above all for the financial well-being of Indian markets.
She was honored with INDIAN WOMEN ACHIEVERS AWARD by the President of India on January 20, 2018 at New Delhi.
