New Delhi, Jan 5: The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture pulled up IndiGo and other private Airlines for their alleged mistreatment of passengers, following recent incidents of unsavoury behaviour from their staff.
“Rigorous training should be given to the crew and staff to extend courteous and decent behaviour to the passengers,” the Parliamentary panel said in its report which was presented in both Houses of Parliament on Thursday.
While narrating some of the incidents of misbehavior in airlines, especially in Indigo, majority of the committee members opined that the attitude of airlines staff is very condescending, often uncooperative and on many occasions, downright rude.
