New Delhi, Dec 27: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2018 for admission to the 19 National Law Universities (NLUs) is scheduled on May 13, 2018. The examination is conducted to admit students for undergraduate and postgraduate law degrees.
The National University of Advanced Legal Studies in Kochi is organising the examination and has issued official notification stating that the candidates will be able to apply for the examination from January 1, 2018. Candidates who wish to apply for the examination can do so from the official website and get more details about the exams.
The last date for online submission of the applications is March 31. The candidates will have to mention their NLU preference in the application. The duration of the exam is two hours. The paper will begin at 3 pm and finish at 5 pm.
The candidates will have to create a registration id and log in password using their email id and mobile number to get access to the application. The candidates will also have to upload soft copy of their passport size photograph and their signature. The applicants must also keep in mind that no information given can be changed after the submission.
Applicants from General category will have to pay Rs 4000 as fee for appearing in the exams and those from SC/ST category will pay a fees of Rs 3500. The candidates can also buy the question papers of previous exams. The students will get access to their admit cards from 20th April which they can download using their log in id.
