New Delhi, Dec 26: The official website of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC ) has notified about the vacancies for the post of Assistant Professor in Higher Education Department. The candidates who wish to apply can do so by visiting the official website. The last date for application is January 24, 2018.
There are 2968 vacancies for the above mentioned post. According to the notification, candidates who wish to apply should have a post–graduate degree and should have achieved 55% marks in their discipline from a recognized Indian University. Also the candidates will have to clear UGC/ NET/SLET/SET and other mentioned exams. However, if any candidate holds a Doctorate degree completed under UGC Regulation 2009, they are not required to appear for NET/SET/SET.
There will be an online examination and after clearing it, the candidates will undergo personal interview. After successfully completing the procedure, the candidates who get selected will have a probation period of two years. According to an Indian Express report, the salary will be in the range of Rs 15000–39,100 accompanied by a grade pay of Rs 6000.
The age criteria for candidates who are residents of Madhya Pradesh is 21–40 years whereas the upper age limit of candidates who reside in other states is 28.
