New Delhi, Dec 19: Delhi and the national capital region were engulfed with a layer of fog on Tuesday morning. The situation resulted in the cancellation of 3 trains and delay of 18 trains. A Indian Meteorological Department report said the minimum temperature was recorded at 11 degree Celsius, the maximum temperature stood at 24 degree Celsius. It added the situation is likely to continue with cold wave hitting entire Northern India.
The reason for this weather condition prevailing over Delhi and NCR can be attributed to the seasonal weather pattern, said weather forecaster Skymet Weather.
