Jaipur, Dec 12: Class 10 students appearing for their English subject half-yearly examination in government schools under the Rajasthan Board for Secondary Education (RBSE) were given a question paper that had multiple spelling errors. A passage on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the question paper read: “MODI SERVED as the Chief Minister of Gujrat for the four terms… As a spoker he is known as a craod-puller. He is the most sovy political leader of India.” Few other words that were wrongly spelled were obese as “obessed”, violence as “voilence” etc.
RBSE chairman BL Chaudhary told The Indian Express that the half-yearly examinations are not conducted by them, but are held independently by district education authorities.
