I was manipulated into undergoing a surgery just so that the hospital could make more money.
Despite having no complications, I was cut open to deliver my baby via a caesarean section.
Taking care of my newborn baby became extremely difficult because my recovery was long, painful and depressing.
Like me lakhs of Indian women are misled because hospitals have turned childbirth into a moneymaking business.
Sign my petition and ask the government to direct hospitals to be more transparent about the percentage of caesarean section surgeries they conduct.
I am going to personally meet and deliver this petition to Maneka Gandhi, the Minister for Women and Child Development this week.
