Jammu, Nov 18: Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Farooq Abdullah on Saturday slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders for threatening Muslims in Uttar Pradesh asking how many more pieces will the BJP cut India into. “You have made one Pakistan, how many Pakistans will you make, how many pieces will you cut India into?” asked Farooq Abdullah while addressing a gathering in Jammu.
Farooq Abdullah‘s remarks came a few days after a BJP leader Ranjeet Kumar Srivastava warned Muslims that if they do not vote for the party, they will distance themselves from the party and will then have to “face difficulties”.
“This is not the Samajwadi Party’s government. You can’t get your work done just by going to a DM or SP. You may face some other difficulties as well. Today, you don’t have an advocate in the BJP party,” Ranjeet Kumar Srivastava said. Srivastava was campaigning for his wife ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Civic Elections 2017.
