NGO writes to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for survey on homeless people

A city-based organisation for the homeless has written to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal seeking a fresh survey of the homeless people in the national capital and periodic inspections of night shelters. Founder of non-government organisation Centre for Holistic Development Sunil Kumar Aledia further suggested that other departments like women and Child Development and Social Welfare should work in coordination with the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB).

CBI scared of Sisodia, says CM; BJP hits back

New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said that the CBI was "scared" of Manish Sisodia, referring to the inquiry initiated by the agency against his deputy. On his part, Mr Sisodia dared the investigating agency to arrest him. The preliminary enquiry was merely a tool to stall reforms in Delhi’s education sector, he said.

CBI wants ‘Talk to AK’ documents

New Delhi: A day after initiating a preliminary enquiry (PE) against Manish Sisodia, the CBI on Thursday decided to seek documents pertaining to the social media campaign – Talk to AK – initiated by the city government from the office of the Delhi deputy chief minister in a day or two. Sources said, "If required, the agency may send a team of its officials to the deputy CM’s office for collecting the relevant documents."
