Services on Delhi Metro Violet Line Disrupted For Half an Hour Due to Technical Snag

New Delhi, Oct 13: Services on Delhi Metro’s Violet Line were disrupted for half-an-hour during the morning rush hours on Friday due to a technical problem resulting into problems for the officer goers, reports ANI. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has, as of yet, not released an official statement revealing the exact reason behind the problem.

The violet line is one of the six lines of the Delhi Metro that connects Kashmere Gate station in New Delhi with Escorts Mujesar in Faridabad. The line consists of 32 metro stations with a total length of 40.35 kilometres.

The disruption of the services did not go down well with the commuters as one of them took to Twitter and slammed the DMRC over the recent fare hikes. “Technical problem at delhi metro violet line so the fares are increased for the delays and inconvenience,” a Twitter used posted.
