Pay Rs 3,000 Crores For 5 Years to Avert Metro Fare Hike: Centre Tells AAP Govt

New Delhi, Oct 7: To avert the fare hike in Delhi metro, set to be implemented next week, the state government should agree to pay Rs 3,000 crores for the next five years, Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri reportedly informed the Chief Minister’s Office.

Puri wrote a letter addressed to CM Arvind Kejriwal, after the latter opposed the fare revision of Metro, calling the move “anti-people”.
