Four Women of a Family, Security Guard Killed in Shahdara’s Mansarovar Park in Delhi

New Delhi: Five persons, including four women of a family, were found dead inside a house at Mansarovar Park of Shahdara district in East Delhi on Saturday. If reports are to be believed, the reason behind the multiple murder is an alleged property dispute, however, the exact reason has not been ascertained as of now.

The deceased were stabbed with a sharp weapon, which has been recovered from the spot. The deceased include four women and a security guard. The police is on the spot and are investigating the matter.

The incident came to light when a call was made to the police at 7:15 AM. The deceased have been identified as Urmila (65), Sangeet Gupta (43), Nupur Jindal (35), Anjali Jindal (33) and security guard Rakesh (50).

Speaking to ANI, Special Police Commissioner said that the crime scene indicates friendly entry. “Can’t say motive behind murders now. We have few inputs and probe is underway,” he said. The five were found dead in house number 1/561 on GT Road with injury marks. The police also said that the house was found ransacked but it was not known if any valuables were stolen.
