IAF Chopper Crashes in Arunachal Pradesh, 7 Military Personnel Dead

Arunachal Pradesh, Oct 6: All the seven military personnel died on Friday morning after an Indian Air Force chopper MI-17 V5 crashed in Tawang Valley, Arunachal Pradesh. There were five Air Force personnel and two Indian Army personnel in the MI-17 V5 chopper. The crash was reported around 6 AM, a senior official said. The Indian Air Force, however, claims that the death toll is five, with one officer in state.

Other reports say that Indian Air Force has confirmed the death of five personnel in the Mi-17 V5 helicopter crash in Arunachal Pradesh. The crash was reported near Chuna post, 12 km India-Tibet border, days before Nirmala Sitharaman’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh on October 8.
