Bihar Cabinet Expansion Likely Today; 16 NDA, 19 JD(U) MLAs to Take Oath at 5 pm

Patna, July 29: In a major development, the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar Cabinet will be expanded on Saturday. As per reports, the names of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders Mangal Pandey, Prem Kumar and Nand Kishore Yadav have been finalised. 16 MLAs from the National Democratic Aliiance (NDA) and 19 from the Janata Dal United (JDU) are likely to take oath as ministers on Saturday. The swearing-in ceremony is likely to take place in Raj Bhawan at 5 pm.

If sources are to be believed, among those likely to be inducted are Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh, Lesy Singh, Shrawan Kumar,Jai Kumar Singh and Khursheed Alam from JD(U); Nand Kishore Yadav, Prem Kumar, Mangal Pandey, Rajneesh Kumar, Gyanendra Singh Gyanoo and Ramprit Paswan from BJP and Pashupati Kumar Paras from Lok Janshakti Party.
