Politics poisons our campuses; anger peaks over ‘beef’ assault

They have divided us at JNU, then at Delhi University, at Hyderabad and now in IITs as well. The college authorities have now ordered a probe into the assault of Suraj for eating beef at a protest rally, but the bigger question arises — shouldn’t college campuses be left out of the ugly political war between the Centre and states over the ban on beef?
