Kapil Mishra ends hunger strike after 6 days, asks AAP for foreign travel details

Sacked Delhi water minister, Kapil Mishra, ended his six-day-long hunger strike demanding details of the foreign trips of five Aam Aadmi Party leaders.

The suspended AAP leader was admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital on Sunday after he dramatically fainted during a press conference. Mishra said that he was ending his strike as the doctors won’t discharge him till he starts taking liquids.

He began the strike demanding to know the details of foreign travel by AAP leaders Sanjay Singh, Ashish Khetan, Satyendar Jain, Raghav Chaddha and Durgesh Pathak. Mishra had alleged that while he was in the party, he was told that there was not enough money for party campaigns. He asked the AAP to explain how the “cash-strapped party” arranged money to send its leaders on foreign tours.
