BJP, PM nervous on second phase: Why EC is Clement on Yogi: Mayawati

Lucknow: After completing her 48 hours ban imposed by the Election Commission on Thursday morning, BSP president Mayawati has hit out at the BJP and termed it as a nervous during the second phase of polls. “The condition of BJP and Prime minister Narendra Modi is similar to that of the Congress in the last Lok Ssbha polls. The real reason for this fear was their anti-attitude for backwards, dalits,Muslim, farmers, traders, workers and upper caste poor,” she said in a tweet on Thursday morning. However in another two tweets , Ms Mayawati has slammed the EC for taking no action on the UP CM Yogi Adityanath for getting publicity in the media during his ban by visiting temples and house of dalit.

“The ignorance of the EC on the BJP leaders activity would lead to failure to hold a free and fair polls. BJP continue to violate the norms as they were doing in the past and how the concern of the people woukd be sorted out,” she said. The BSP president further said that, “Violating all norms, UP CM Yogi was visiting cities, temples along with drama of having food in the house of dalit.Why the EC is silent on the acts of the CM when he is violating norms to taken political mileage during his ban.” After two days van Mayawati will embark on her election rallies on Thursday and she will address a single poll meeting at Gopalganj in Bihar. BSP is contesting all the seats in Bihar alone.
