DELHI TRAFFIC POLICE TRAFFIC ADVISORY – IPL T-20 CRICKET MATCH AT FEROZESHAH KOTLA GROUND ON 17.04.19

New Delhi : IPL T-20 cricket match between Delhi Capitals Vs Mumbai Indians will be played at Ferozeshah Kotla Ground as per the schedule given below: –

Delhi Traffic Police has made elaborate traffic arrangements for parking of vehicles, traffic circulation, pedestrians’ movement and safety of the visitors in and around the Stadium.

PARKING

Limited parking is available for labeled vehicles in the proximity of the Stadium. No parking of vehicles would be allowed to be parked on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg & on Ring Road from Rajghat to I.P. Flyover (both the carriageways) on the match day. Vehicles parked on these roads shall be towed away and prosecuted as per law.

PARK & RIDE FACILITY

For spectators, unlabeled vehicles ‘park and ride’ facility has been created at following places:-

1. Mata Sundari Parking. 2. Shanti Van Parking 3. Under Velodrome Road.
All the spectators coming in their vehicles shall reach these ‘Park & Ride’ sites, and avail “Park & Ride” facility to reach stadium. All buses will start their service 2 hours before the match and will continue till 1 hour after the start of the match. The bus service from the stadium to their respective destinations will start as soon as the game ends and will continue for 1 hour after the match ends.

Spectators using app based taxi and other taxis should use the service lane on Ring Road between I.P. flyover & Rajghat crossing for drop & pickup.

Car parking label holders are advised to take Ring Road, JLN Marg, Asaf Ali Road or Bahadurshah Zafar Marg. ‘U’ turn at Delhi Gate is allowed. Entry to parking lots P1, P3 & P4, shall be from Bahadurshah Zafar Marg only, near Petrol pump.
Metro Station:
Spectators are advised to use metro facility to reach the Stadium; Delhi Gate Metro Station (Gate No. 4 & 5) is the nearest to reach the Stadium. ITO Metro Station (Gate No. 3, 4 & 5) can also be used to reach the Stadium.
ACCESS TO THE STADIUM
(I) Gate Nos. 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 are located on the Southern Side of the Stadium and entry to these enclosures are from Bahardurshah Zafar Marg.
(II) Gate Nos. 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 are located on the Eastern side of the stadium on the road and entry is from J.L.N. Marg next to Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal.
(III) Gate Nos. 16, 17 and 18 are located on the Western side of the stadium and entry is from BSZ Marg next to Petrol Pump.

DIVERSION/RESTRICTION (AS AND WHEN REQUIRED)

There will be diversion of traffic for one and half hour after conclusion of the match. No traffic shall be allowed on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, Delhi Gate to JLN Marg, from Darya Ganj to Bahadurshah Zafar Marg and from Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali Road. People are requested to avoid the following roads from 04.00 PM to 11.30 PM on the match day respectively when the spectators would be coming to the stadium and congestion is expected:
(1) Rajghat to J.L.N. Marg,
(2) J.L.N. Marg from R/A Kamla Market to Raj Ghat,
(3) Asaf Ali Road from Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate,
(4) B.S.Z. Marg from Ram Charan Agarwal Chowk to Delhi Gate.

Display of car parking label on windscreen is mandatory. Vehicle number must be written on the parking label. Those who do not display parking label with vehicle number will not be allowed in the proximity of the stadium.

SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS
 Do not bring electronic items like Laptop, Camera/Video Camera, Transistor, Digital Diary, Remote controlled Car-keys, etc.
 Do not bring eatables, food packets, water bottles, cigarette lighter, match boxes, knives, arms, etc.
