New Delhi, The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday condoled the demise of Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. A two-minute silence was observed in the memory of Parrikar, who passed away in Goa on Sunday at the age 63. The Cabinet also approved observing one day of mourning by the Government and flying the National Flag at half-mast on March 18 in all the States/Union Territories Capitals, including Delhi and throughout the state of Goa. A condolence Resolution in the memory of Parrikar was also approved in the meeting.
