Rainy morning in Delhi, air quality ‘moderate’

New Delhi, The Delhiites on Thursday woke up to a rainy morning, with minimum temperature being recorded at 13.2 degrees Celsius, two notches above the normal. The rainfall recorded till 0830 hrs was 0.8 mm, the India Meteorological Department (MeT) said. The relative humidity till 0830 hrs was pegged at 96 per cent. The air quality was ‘moderate’, with the air quality index recorded at 142 till 0900 hrs, according to the Central Pollution Control Board. According to the MeT Department, there is a possibility of generally cloudy sky with light rains during the day. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 21 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature on Wednesday settled at 21.2 degrees C, four notches below the normal.
