Basantgarh police has arrested one middle- aged person on the charge of alleged rape on his own daughter at remote Mang village.
The action was taken after wife of the accused lodged FIR No. 34/2018 against her husband that he allegedly raped his own 12-year-old daughter.
The police sent the victim for medical examination and arrested the accused.
Further investigation was in progress.
