MCD elections 2017: Meet AAP candidate Anita Ujjainwal who contested against Arvind Kejriwal in 2013 Delhi assembly polls

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his party are seeking to revive its fortune in the upcoming MCD Elections 2017. CM Kejriwal also wants to make a statement that his party is still a pivotal player in Delhi. To win any elections, candidates fielded by the concerned party do make a difference. AAP has opted for surprise choice. The party’s candidate from ward 1 E (Mayur Vihar Phase I), Anita Ujjainwal, had contested the 2013 Assembly election against the party chief Kejriwal. Ujjainwal is a social activist. She was one of the Independent candidates in the fray against Kejriwal and former chief minister Sheila Dikshit.
