Apeejay Higher Institutions sign MoUs with Reliance Jio

In light of introducing industry-relevant programmes and to facilitate its students with ultra-modern information and communication technologies, Apeejay Stya University (ASU) and other Apeejay Stya Higher Education institutions have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Reliance Jio.

With this partnership, both Apeejay Stya and Reliance Jio have agreed upon to collaboratively develop sustainable and dedicated programmes for students. In addition to this, the partnership will also enable the institutions to set up 4G campus(es), Optical Fibre Lab(s), ultra high speed broadband connectivity and cloud services.

The MoU was signed in the presence of top delegates, including Mr. Nishant Berlia, Member, Management, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group and Balasubramaniam Iyer, Vice-President, Reliance Jio. Mr Berlia is also the Pro-Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University.

Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Berlia said, “We continuously strive to evolve and achieve excellence through collaborations like this apart from other in-house initiatives. This tie-up will help our higher education institutions, including Apeejay Stya University to further add value to its efforts towards excellence in the internet technology and digital data space.”

Furthermore, Reliance Jio shall provide support with regards to all relevant study materials of programmes, along with the respective intellectual property rights. Besides, Reliance Jio shall also conduct specific training programmes for faculty and personnel of Apeejay Stya institutions, among other things.
