Indian First Ladies-Manju – Rajasthan’s first woman porter in the entire NorthWestern Railway region.

This iron-willed woman refused to bow down to any obstacle, even when the road ahead was difficult. She is the first woman in the entire North Western Railway region, who took up the job of a ‘coolie’ (porter). Manju started working at the Jaipur railway station and earned her livelihood. She made her mark into the traditional male dominated field.

She was honored with INDIAN WOMEN ACHIEVERS AWARD by the President of India on January 20, 2018 at New Delhi.
