Indian First Ladies-AnshuJamsenpa – First Indian woman to scale Mt. Everest for fifth time

Anshu Jamsenpa, hails from Bomdila, a remote border town in Arunachal Pradesh. She has created two world records and one national record in the field of mountaineering. She had her first attempt in 2011, when she conquered the 29,029 ft peak twice in 10 days between May 12 and 21. Her third successful attempt was on May 18 2013 . She unfurled the national flag for the fourth time in May 2017 and was successful in her double ascent attempt to climb the world’s highest peak on May 17 2017.

She was honored with INDIAN WOMEN ACHIEVERS AWARD by the President of India on January 20, 2018 at New Delhi
