What Happened to Rs 55,000 Crore Project to Help Tribals, Migrants? Rahul’s 10th Question to PM Modi

New Delhi, Dec 8: In his 10th question of the ‘a question a day’ social media campaign, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday questioned Prime Minister over his promises to help the tribals and migrants in the country. Accusing the BJP government of snatching land from tribals, Rahul Gandhi said migration has broken the social structure within the tribal community.

“Migration has affected severely affected our tribals. Modiji, where is Rs 55,000 crore of the Vanbandhu Yojana,” Rahu Gandhi said in his Twitter post.

Rahul Gandhi said tribals are living a deplorable life as they have been denied even basic facilities like schools and hospital.

PM Modi had recently said that the Gujarat government initiated a Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana scheme dedicated to tribal people which has a total budget of Rs 65,700 crore.
