Husband dies 30 min after wife’s heart stops beating

Istanbul: A man died due to a heart attack after his wife’s heart stopped beating. The time gap between their death is just 30 minutes.

According to the report published in Daily Sabah, Turkish couple, Esma Tüfekçi (75) and Selahattin Tüfekçi (85) died 30 minutes apart.

Esma Tüfekçi on Thursday night started suffering chest pains. The medical team that arrived her residence decided to take her to the hospital. However, her heart stopped beating just after she was shifted into an ambulance.

On the other hand, her husband, Selahattin Tüfekçi collapsed due to a heart attack.

The couple rushed to Rize State Hospital. Doctors declared that both of them died at 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

It is also reported that before suffering from heart attack, Selahattin reportedly said that he cannot live with his wife and requested to save her.

Modi government in action: Further ED raid seized Rs. 25 crore worth jewelry

The Enforcement Directorate on Saturday conducted further searches at 21 locations across India in connection with the PNB scam and seized diamonds, gold, precious stones/ metals and jewelry worth Rs 25 crore (Book Value). With this, the total seizure till now is valued at Rs 5674 crore.

Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Punjab National Bank’s retired Deputy Manager, Gokulnath Shetty and two others in a multi-crore bank fraud case, officials said on Saturday.

“CBI has Shetty, Single Window Operator Manoj Kharat and authorized signatory of the Nirav Modi Group of Firms, Hemant Bhat,” a CBI official said.

According to the FIR, it was alleged in the PNB complaint that Gitanjali Gems, Gili India Ltd and Nakshatra Brand Ltd and their directors in connivance with Sethi and other officials had caused an alleged loss of Rs 4,886.72 crore to the bank.

The CBI on Friday registered fresh FIRs against 10 directors of the Gitanjali Group of companies under charges of criminal conspiracy and cheating of Indian Penal Code and Prevention of Corruption Act against Mehul Choksi, the Managing Director of Gitanjali Gems Ltd based at Mumbai’s Walkeshwar.

Income Tax Slab Rate:

Income tax slab rates are for different classes of taxpayers, who are taxed progressively more according to their earning. The income tax slab rates can be classified into the following categories:

1. Income Tax Slab for Individual & HUF ( age less than 60 years old)

Income from Rs. 2,50,000 – Rs. 5,00,000 5%
Income from Rs. 5,00,000 – 10,00,000 20%

Army Jawan commits suicide by hanging self

A 31-year-old Army jawan allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling, police said today.

The deceased Krishna Nagu Kolhe hailed from Kolhapur and was working at the MT Park unit in Devlali near here, an official of Devlali camp police station said.

He took the extreme step last evening by hanging himself from the ceiling at the car shed of the unit, the official added.

According to the officer, Kolhe had recently been transferred to Devlali from Rajasthan.

A case has been registered and a probe was on, the officer added.
