Virat Kohli – Anushka Sharma’s Destination Wedding Date, Honeymoon Plans And Court Marriage Details

This is an update of all the updates so far on Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding that has kept the work guessing and on their toes! All the rumours around the celeb couple’s wedding were being seen as just that, rumours, until we spotted the actress leaving the country from Mumbai airport, with her family and lots of luggage in tow. We next heard that Virat too took a flight out of Delhi around the same time. There were reports that the two plan to get hitched in Milan, Italy and every one wondered if that’s where the lovebirds where headed.

The couple are slated to be back in the country by December 21 after a brief honeymoon in Rome which tells us that they might register their marriage on January 5. We had earlier informed you about reports of the couple picking December 12, 18 and 21 and January 5 as possible dates for their court marriage and now looks like, they will only be able to make it for the one in Jan 2018. The couple also plans to throw a lavish reception at Mumbai’s JW Marriot.

I&B Ministry merges 3 departments

New Delhi, Dec 8  The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has integrated its three departments — Directorate of Field Publicity (DFP), Song and Drama Division (S&DD) and Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP), according to an order today.

All regional offices and field units of S&DD and DAVP will be subsumed in the 22 regional offices and 147 field units of DFP, the order said.

The integrated regional units will be re-named as Regional Outreach Bureaus (ROBs) and the additional director general (region) will be the controlling officer for all administrative and financial matters, it added.

Similarly, all the 147 field units will be re-named as Field Outreach Bureaus (FOBs). The additional director general (region) concerned will be empowered to designate the heads of respective FOBs.

Post integration, all the three media units — DFP, S&DD and DAVP — headquartered in Delhi will be re-named as Bureau of Outreach & Communication (BOC).

A committee comprising an additional secretary, the DG (DAVP) and a joint sectary has been formed to oversee the process of integration within a period of six months.

Sanjay Nirupam Files FIR Against BJP’s GVL Narasimha Rao Over Derogatory Remark Against Rahul Gandhi

Mumbai, Dec 8: Mumbai Congress Chief Sanjay Nirupam filed a complaint against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao at Versova Police Station for using derogatory language against the Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi. He had reportedly called him a ‘Babar Bhakt’ and a ‘kin of Khilji’.

On December 6, Rao had tweeted that “Rahul Gandhi has teamed up with Owaisis, Jilanis to oppose Ram temple in Ayodhya. Rahul Gandhi is certainly a “Babar Bhakt” and a “Kin of Khilji”. Babar destroyed Ram temple and Khilji plundered Somnath. Nehru dynasty sided with both Islamic invaders. Travesty and Perversity of dynasty!”.

#MadhyaPradesh: Two Men Gangrape, Set 15-year-old on Fire in Sagar; Victim Critical

Sagar, Dec 8: A 15-year-old girl was gangraped by two men inside her house in Deval village of Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. Set on fire by the accused before they fled, the victim was rescued by her neighbours. She has suffered 80 per cent burn injuries and is admitted to the Bundelkhand Medical College in a critical condition. One of the accused has been held whereas, the search for the other is still on.

“After raping the victim, the two accused doused her with kerosene and set her afire. She was rescued by the neighbours after she cried for help. It is still to be investigated whether the accused had brought kerosene with them or found it inside the victim’s house,” SHO Bhangarh police station has been quoted as saying by India Today.

UP to Cap Private School Fee, Penalty Includes Cancellation of Affiliation

Lucknow, Dec 8: The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday announced new guidelines for private schools in the state. Among other norms, the government has planned to introduce caps on fees charged by the schools and strict action against those institutions violating them. The Government also said that continuous violation of guidelines can result in the cancellation of the school’s affiliation.

Minister of Food and Civic Supplies, Atul Garg on Friday tweeted the announcement made by Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma earlier today. He said, in a bid to regulate the functioning of the private schools, which are known to charge exorbitant fee from parents, the Government has decided to intervene.

According to the guidelines there will be a division among the fees charged into that which is mandatory and that which would be optional.

Within Mandatory fee comes amount charged for registration and prospectus. This will be a one-time payment only payable at the time of admission. Admission fee will be charged only during new admissions and during promoting students from Class 5 to Class 6, Class 8 to Class 9 and Class 10 to Class 11.

Apart from this, other mandatory charges include examination fees and the academic fee.
