Four Women of a Family, Security Guard Killed in Shahdara’s Mansarovar Park in Delhi

New Delhi: Five persons, including four women of a family, were found dead inside a house at Mansarovar Park of Shahdara district in East Delhi on Saturday. If reports are to be believed, the reason behind the multiple murder is an alleged property dispute, however, the exact reason has not been ascertained as of now.

The deceased were stabbed with a sharp weapon, which has been recovered from the spot. The deceased include four women and a security guard. The police is on the spot and are investigating the matter.

The incident came to light when a call was made to the police at 7:15 AM. The deceased have been identified as Urmila (65), Sangeet Gupta (43), Nupur Jindal (35), Anjali Jindal (33) and security guard Rakesh (50).

Speaking to ANI, Special Police Commissioner said that the crime scene indicates friendly entry. “Can’t say motive behind murders now. We have few inputs and probe is underway,” he said. The five were found dead in house number 1/561 on GT Road with injury marks. The police also said that the house was found ransacked but it was not known if any valuables were stolen.

#Delhi woman falls off moving bus, loses foot, says conductor told her to deboard

A 60-year-old woman’s foot came under a moving bus after she fell from it in central Delhi’s Daryaganj area. The police said the woman had been allegedly asked by the conductor allegedly get down from the bus even as the vehicle was moving.

The woman’s foot was badly injured in the accident on that occurred on Thursday. She was rushed to a hospital by the bus driver where doctors amputated her foot, the police said.

A case has been registered against the driver and conductor on the basis of the woman’s complaint. The matter is being probed, the police said.

The victim, a resident of Seelampur, after meeting a relative admitted at LNJP Hospital was waiting at Delhi Gate for a bus to return home, they said.

The police said the woman was allegedly irked after not finding a bus for Seelampur and boarded a low-floor bus.

However, the conductor reportedly told her the bus would not go to Seelampur, they said.

The woman, in her complaint, alleged that she was asked to get down from the moving bus and the conductor did not even ask the driver to stop the vehicle. While getting down from the bus, she fell and the rear wheel of the vehicle ran over her foot, the police has said.

82-yr-old woman among 5 stabbed to death in #Delhi

New Delhi: Five people, including an 82-year-old woman, were stabbed to death on Saturday morning at their residence in the Mansarovar Park area of Shahdara, police said.

Police said a call was received around 0700 hrs by the police control room regarding the incident. When they reached the spot, there were no signs of any forced entry into the house, police added.

The deceased are identified as Urmila Jindal (82), her daughters Sangeeta Gupta (56), Nupur Jindal (48) and Anjali Jindal (38) and their security guard Rakesh (42), police added.

Rahul Gandhi in Mandi : Modi govt’s economic policies have caused unemployment

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, who returned to Delhi from three-day visit to his Lok Sabha constituency Amethi on Friday, kick-starts the party’s campaign in Himachal Pradesh’ Mandi.

Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh has been facing cases of alleged corruption and disproportionate assets, using which the opposition BJP aims to pin him down.

In Amethi, rahul Gandhi targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying: “The BJP government has completed three-and-a-half years and has only one-and-a-half years left. The prime minister should work now for employment generation and for farmers.”
