Bullet-ridden body of man found in #Rohini

New Delhi, May 19  A bullet-ridden body of a man was found dumped at an isolated place in Sector 36 Rohini, police said today.

The body was later identified to be that of 30-year-old Dinesh, a resident of Shahabad Dairy area in Rohini.

His body was found lying with a bullet injury at an isolated place in Rohini around 9.30 PM yesterday. A vehicle was also found parked near his body on the roadside, said Rishipal, DCP (Rohini).

Tuberculosis free India: J P Nadda formulates strategy to eliminate TB by 2025

India on Friday pledged its commitment to eliminate tuberculosis by 2025, five years ahead of the global goal to reduce the number of such deaths by 90 per cent by 2030. Speaking at the 29th meeting of Stop TB Partnership coordination committee, Union Health Minister J P Nadda said that India has formulated a national strategic plan with a special focus on stamping out the bactrial disease at grass root levels.

Rename Babar Road after Lt Ummer Fayaz: Tajinder Pal Bagga

Delhi BJP spokesperson Tajinder Pal Bagga has suggested that Delhi’s Babar Road, named after India’s first Mughal emperor, be renamed after Ummer Fayaz, the Army lieutenant who was killed by terrorists in the Valley recently. Bagga has written to the Prime Minister, MP Meenakshi Lekhi and NDMC chairperson Naresh Kumar in this regard. Bagga, in his letter, said the entire nation is mourning the death of the Armyman from the Rajputana Rifles.
